James was born on January 21, 1940 and passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2018.

James was a resident of Grand Rapids, Michigan at the time of passing.

Jim was a graduate of Godwin Heights High School, Class of 1958.

He served in the US Navy aboard the USS Antietam, CV-36, serving from 1958 to 1962.

In lieu of gifts or flowers, please remember Jim by being kind and selfless to others, like he was to you; laugh, love children, and tell fart jokes with rolling belly laughs.
