Barbara came to visit me at my folks shortly after I lost my husband. She gave me a smiling sun brooch she bought for herself when she "needed some sun in her life." She brought sun and family warmth to her California relative when it was needed most. Her sunny nature lights my memories of her.

My prayers go out to you Fred and Betty and the family, that God will help you heal after the loss of someone you love so dearly. God gave my cousin Barbara that smile and infectious laugh and much much more, to show all those whom she met that there is JOY in this life and in the after life. I am so Thankful and grateful for Barbara and Fred's yearly visits to San Diego...many many memories I will cherish forever!

Barb was a part of my life at 7th Reformed as far back as I can remember. She became my partner on a special finance team and we spent many memorable evenings recording donations and chatting. Whenever I would run into her, she always had a ready smile and hug. She will be deeply missed by family and friends.
